Work With Shannon
Naturopathy
Naturopathy is a holistic approach to health care that focuses on natural remedies and the body’s innate ability to heal itself. It combines traditional healing practices with modern scientific knowledge to promote overall wellness and address the root causes of illness rather than just treating symptoms.
Clinical Nutrition
Clinical nutrition is the science of using diet and nutritional interventions to promote health, manage diseases, and support overall well-being. It focuses on understanding how nutrients in food impact the body’s physiological functions and how specific dietary strategies can prevent, treat, or manage health conditions.
Herbal Medicine
Herbal medicine (also known as phytotherapy) is the practice of using plants and plant-based substances to prevent, alleviate, or treat various health conditions. It is one of the oldest forms of medicine, with roots in traditional healing practices across cultures worldwide, and it continues to play a significant role in modern complementary and alternative medicine.
Microcurrent Therapy
Microcurrent therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses very low-level electrical currents to stimulate the body’s tissues and promote healing. These currents mimic the natural electrical signals produced by cells in the body, making the therapy gentle and well-tolerated. We use the latest top of the range Avazzia Pinnacle device.
Biofeedback Therapy
Biofeedback (or Bioresonance) is a type of complementary therapy that uses electromagnetic frequencies to assess and influence the body’s energy systems. It is based on the concept that every cell, tissue, and organ in the body emits its own unique frequency or electromagnetic vibration, which can be measured and influenced to promote healing and restore balance.
Professional Speaker
Shannon is an experienced speaker, delivering weekly presentations at Gwinganna Lifestyle Retreat as well as at corporate conferences and workplace wellness programs.
Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis
Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) is a diagnostic test that measures the levels of minerals and trace elements in a hair sample. It provides insights into an individual’s mineral balance, heavy metal exposure, and metabolic functioning, making it a valuable tool in personalized health assessments.
Digestive Health Testing
The Microbiomix Metagenomic Mapping Test uses advanced shotgun sequencing to analyse the DNA of entire microbial communities in a stool sample. This comprehensive method identifies bacteria, viruses, fungi, and other microorganisms-over 28,000 species in total. Unlike traditional tests, it can detect previously rare or unknown species, offering a detailed view of gut diversity and overall microbiome health.
Genetic Testing
Fitgenes is a personalized health and wellness program that uses genetic testing to analyze how an individual’s DNA influences their health, fitness, and response to lifestyle factors. The insights gained help create tailored recommendations for nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle changes to optimise health outcomes and prevent disease.
Advanced Genetic Testing
The new Advanced Pathways Test allows us to understand the key SNP’s we require for methylation, detoxification and neurotransmitters. This comprehensive report will provide and support you and your Practitioner to make informed decisions regarding your health protocols.
Food Sensitivity Testing
Food sensitivities are often linked to conditions such as IBS, eczema, fatigue, and other inflammatory symptoms. With proper identification and removal of trigger foods, many people experience significant symptom relief and improved wellbeing.
The Food Sensitivity Test uses an IgG antibody assessment to help identify reactive foods. We offer a comprehensive 96-food panel that measures your body’s immune response to common foods, providing valuable insights for personalised dietary planning.
EndoMAP - Comprehensive Hormone Testing
The EndoMAP is NutriPath’s most advanced dried urine test, providing a detailed assessment of hormonal, metabolic, and environmental influences on hormone balance. It provides comprehensive insights into the estrogen, androgen, progesterone, and glucocorticoid pathways, mapping hormone production and metabolism to support targeted treatment strategies.
